{"id":82,"date":"2006-10-20T23:38:32","date_gmt":"2006-10-20T22:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/curve.org.uk\/newblog\/2006\/10\/20\/celebrating_art\/"},"modified":"2006-10-20T23:38:32","modified_gmt":"2006-10-20T22:38:32","slug":"celebrating_art","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/newblog\/2006\/10\/20\/celebrating_art\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating art"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"testsite.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/testsite.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"200\" style=\"float: left; margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px;\" border=0\/>Popped into the Tate Modern on the way home this evening to check out Carsten Holler&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tate.org.uk\/modern\/exhibitions\/carstenholler\/default.shtm\">Test Site<\/a>, the latest of the Unilever Series of exhibits in the old Turbine Hall of the building.<br \/>\nEach time I go to one of these ehibits I really enjoy it.  Highlights for me so far include <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tate.org.uk\/modern\/exhibitions\/eliasson\/\">The Weather Project<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/archives\/2005\/11\/london.html\">Embankment<\/a>.  The great thing about the Unilever series is how unashamedly fun so many of them are.  I remember walking amongst the box moulds of &#8216;Embankment&#8217; and having a great feeling of being a child amongst mountains of boxes that I would kick all over the place until I was worn out and could kick no more!<br \/>\nOn this visit I didn&#8217;t have time to take advantage of the latest wonderful peice of art, but I&#8217;ll be back soon for my rapid trip to the 1st floor from the 5th  \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Popped into the Tate Modern on the way home this evening to check out Carsten Holler&#8217;s Test Site, the latest of the Unilever Series of exhibits in the old Turbine Hall of the building.
