Shawn is from Portland, Oregon, and we first met through friends at the <a href=\"http:\/\/dhop.blogspot.com\/\">Downtown House of Prayer<\/a> a couple of years ago.  Anyway, enough background!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nAfter some time in the city looking around the Tate Modern, we headed down to my parents place in north Wiltshire, stopping off on the way to check out a crop circle from a favourite viewpoint of mine near Swindon (yes, there is such a thing as a good viewpoint near Swindon&#8230;).<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/cropcircle.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/cropcircle.html','popup','width=800,height=533,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/cropcircle-thumb.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/swindonview.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/swindonview.html','popup','width=400,height=600,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/swindonview-thumb.jpg\" width=\"133\" height=\"200\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHaving deduced that aliens weren&#8217;t involved, we had a relaxing afternoon at my parents place before travelling on to Bath the next day.
