It was fantastic to be able to encourage the people in attendance with stories of the 33 24hr prayer meetings going on right at this moment around the world, as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.24-7prayer.com\/cm\/lodown\/722\">some of the amazing stories<\/a> of God answering the prayers of his people.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nWe&#8217;re right in the middle of the 3rd Parliament and Whitehall Prayer Week facilitated by 24-7 Prayer, and over the last few years I&#8217;ve had the honour of joining with Christians at the heart of government as they pray to God for justice, mercy and wisdom for our nation.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/story_parliament_small.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/story_parliament_small.html','popup','width=90,height=67,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/story_parliament_small-thumb.jpg\" width=\"90\" height=\"67\" alt=\"\" style=\"float: left; margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px;\" border=0 \/><\/a>Throughout the week people have been gathering in Queen Victoria Gardens to prayer walk around Parliament and Whitehall, and a few 24-7 representatives have joined with prayer meetings in the various government departments and the Palace of Westminster.<br \/>\nCheck out the <a href=\"http:\/\/uk.24-7prayer.com\">UK 24-7 Prayer website<\/a> for more details, and pray that the name of Jesus would be held in high regard right at the centre of our nation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I had the privilege of joining in prayer with around 20 Christians from the Department of Work and Pensions, Her Majesties Revenue and Customs, and the Treasury Solicitors!
