{"id":116,"date":"2007-05-27T14:39:01","date_gmt":"2007-05-27T13:39:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/curve.org.uk\/newblog\/2007\/05\/27\/24hr_prayer_n_praise\/"},"modified":"2007-05-27T14:39:01","modified_gmt":"2007-05-27T13:39:01","slug":"24hr_prayer_n_praise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/newblog\/2007\/05\/27\/24hr_prayer_n_praise\/","title":{"rendered":"24hr Prayer n Praise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/IMG_7368.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/IMG_7368.html','popup','width=400,height=600,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.curve.org.uk\/blog\/images\/IMG_7368-thumb.jpg\" width=\"133\" height=\"200\" alt=\"\" style=\"float: left; margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px;\" border=0 \/><\/a>I&#8217;ve just awoken from a far-too-short sleep after an amazing night of prayer and praise at my church, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greyfriars.org.uk\">Greyfriars<\/a>, here in Reading.<br \/>\nOur theme for Pentecost was &#8216;breathing in&#8217; the presence and power of God&#8217;s Holy Spirit, and &#8216;breathing out&#8217; that same transforming Spirit into our troubled world.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nDifferent teams lead various hour long sessions throughout the day and night, and I helped to lead a session on &#8216;Harp and Bowl&#8217; intercession and worship, and a creative prayer session on prayer for the world, based around Jesus&#8217; reading from Isaiah in Luke 4.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve had an amazing time, and I&#8217;m sure our sacrifice of praise and prayer has been pleasing to God.
