you're long over-due for a visit to portland! only this time you should come in june or july when there are things to do.

Yep, Portland would be good. Skiing (or more precisely snowboarding) would be good too. In fact there's a whole bunch of places. Egypt. Russia. Australia for more of a thorough trip.
