Networking

leeds.jpgNetworking was always one of those cheesy business terms that I didn’t care much for. But when we got together for the second UK 24-7 Network day last Wednesday, I was looking at the concept in a completely different light.

24-7 types from all over the UK travelled up to Bridge Street Church in Leeds, for a day of sharing stories and looking at how to develop the 24-7 network in their regions. I had the privilege of meeting up with friends from all over the country, and discussing the development of 24-7 with a group who are working at a project that I used to volunteer for, in my time at university 10 years ago!

Sharing stories over lunch at The Wardrobe restaurant in the city centre, I was yet again blown away by the amount of things that God is doing through 24-7, and the connection that so many people feel with it. Being involved with the movement can be hard at times, but its also such a privilege…
