Reading Boiler Room Launches

| | Comments (0)

cavbap.jpgWe gathered on Saturday evening at Cav Baptist rather tired from a frantic couple of weeks trying to get the new Reading Boiler Room fit for people to come and pray in. Through the tiredness though, there was a distinct sense of expectation. We were relaunching, celebrating the new place God had given us to be, and expectant that he was going to speak.

lorraine.jpgAnd speak he did! Lorraine Joslin shared on redemption; for ourselves, for the Boiler Room, for Reading. Many felt the Spirit speaking to them, and some very resonant words and pictures were shared.

band.jpgThere was also a great atmosphere of celebration. I think its the first time I've been involved in Ska style worship, and the experience was both exhausting and fun! Praising God whilst 'skanking'was definitely a departure from more traditional styles of worship!

As the team left the building to kick of our week of 24-7 prayer, being prayed over by all those who had come to share in the launch celebration, it was good to know that we were continuing along the path that God is still revealing for the Reading Boiler Room.
